Within the course of 90 minutes the "big meeting" regarding my foster care license was scheduled for Monday and then canceled.
The skeptical, untrusting side of me believes this...there were only "two available times in the month of January for the people from HHS". One was the Monday (the next business day) and the other was the day AFTER my hearing is scheduled. I suspect they thought there was NO WAY everyone else would be able to clear schedules the next business day. Oops...WRONG.
So...about fifteen minutes after everyone was "in", HHS was out.
Curious. I am really trying not to be cynical about the whole thing, but there have been SO MANY stalling tactics through this whole thing.
Pray I can not let my cynicism take the best for me.
