My journey as a single adoptive mom to two teenage boys who spent years in foster care and a toy dachshund puppy, a westie mix, and a shepherd mix. Some might consider our home a combination of homeless shelter, fraternity house, and humane society. I call it home.
Sophie learned to go down the stairs this weekend. Until now we had been able to keep her contained upstairs, because she was scared to go down the steps.
When I started this blogging journey my intent was to use it as a way to let my friends and family know about the changes in my life.
The writing has helped me to think things through. It has brought me "friends" from all over the country who cheer for me, give me suggestions, and who inspire me.
I am in awe of the single and adoptive parents all over the world.
