Younger Boy is now wetting the bed nearly every single night.

What I have found is that this is one of his behavioral triggers as well.  It immediately invokes fear and anger in him.  When it happens it isn't just your ordinary frustration and embarrassment.  It is completely over the top.

Obviously he wet the bed in the past and it had an outcome that was either scary or hurtful to him.

The other thing which occurred to me after taking my class is this.  Most kids who had an early form of trauma are unable to feel body sensations and recognize them.  I knew in a lot of cases it could be caused by PTSD, but it can also be caused by the lack of recognition of what is going on in their bodies.

In class they refer to them as "floating heads", because they truly don't process the rest of what is going on with them.

Me knowing this doesn't really help Younger Boy.  He is making an effort to put on pull-ups after he showers.  I am making an effort to remind him.  We are both making an effort for him to use the restroom before bed and drink less in the evenings.

Prayers for Younger Boy.  In no way is this his fault.
