This afternoon Grandma and Grandpa came over. They are in town in preparation for Grandpa's follow-up surgery.
We hung out for a little while at our house and chatted and then went to dinner. The boys have a new favorite so we went there. It also happens to be one of my parent's favorites.
Afterward we drove around the new house a few times, because we were talking about what a fence would look like on the property and where the logical places were to connect it to the house.
I learned some interesting things that I guess I didn't previously pay attention to.
I thought we had two trees at our new house. Wrong...six trees at the new house. None of them are small trees either. The thing which stinks is that one of them is right in the way of where I would have installed a fence.
When we were there on Wednesday we didn't have neighbors behind or next to us. Now we have a basement dug out behind us.
I also learned I have NO IDEA what the flowers are in our yard or the trees for that matter. Just not a strong suit of mine or my parents I learned. Grandma knows some flowers and had some guesses.
It was nice to hang out with them and spend some quiet time before Grandpa's surgery.
Praises we are able to see them often.
