It makes me crazy when Middle Boy intentionally misses the tracker calls. They call to check he is home by his curfew every night. They call his cell phone and then the home phone (finally).
Tonight I asked him four times if he had his cell phone. He assured me he did. When I came inside there was a message from the tracker. It was a give away that he did NOT have his cell phone. I asked him to come inside and IMMEDIATELY call the tracker. He chose not to.
For what seems like the hundredth time I explained to him that how he does with the tracker gets reported to the judge and that will affect how long he is on probation. He doesn't seem to care. It infuriates me. He expects to be on probation forever and is working really hard to make it happen.
I KNOW he doesn't take into account how it affects the rest of the family. Doesn't matter. Maybe we need to do a better job of just doing things without him and going on with life.
Prayers for him to "get it".
