Sophie has been doing a lot of shaking lately. You have to keep in mind she is a toy dachshund and weighs slightly less than six pounds.
The boys are worried about her so we did a little research on why it is that she might be shaking. Here are the possible reasons:
She did MUCH better with the new bedtime tonight.
The boys are worried about her so we did a little research on why it is that she might be shaking. Here are the possible reasons:
- She is hurt. - I doubt this is it since when she is hurt she usually yelps REALLY loud.
- She is wet. - Again...I doubt it. The only time she is ever wet is when she gets in the shower in the morning before I do. She loves to do it.
- She is scared. - Maybe. The boys aren't always as careful as they could be and sometimes they get a little rough. It wouldn't be rough if she were a bigger dog, but for her it is a little rough.
- She is excited. - Likely. She gets overly excited and runs all over...a lot.
- She is cold. - Probably. It said online dachshunds are most comfortable at 85 to 90 degrees. If this is her problem Sophie is going to need to learn to like sweaters.
She did MUCH better with the new bedtime tonight.
