So...Younger Boy and I MIGHT be starting at the attachment and trauma center tomorrow over the lunch hour.  Why do I say might?  That is because we are completely wrapped up in red tape.

Foster kiddos can only have one "open" provider for mental health.  Basically that means that you can't have multiple therapists, counselors, whatever.  Someone at Agency has to close one provider and open the next.  Even though I requested we close Therapist J (which I wouldn't do if I were in charge) so we could go to the center about two weeks ago now here we are...the day before the appointment and we might not be able to go, because no authorization approval.

This stuff makes me CRAZY.  It has taken us MONTHS to get into the center.  MONTHS.  Now we can't go to our pre-treatment meeting because we don't have authorization...or maybe we might....probably won't know until I pull Younger Boy out of school, take vacation from work to go, and get to the office.  That's how this works.

The next open pre-treatment meeting is in a few weeks.  So we will be without therapy if we close current therapist to wait for this.  AARGH!!
