Middle Boy has a school dance tomorrow.   On the way home from the hospital he told me that he told his friends he would wear black dress shorts and a white t-shirt so they would all "match".  He doesn't own black dress shorts!!

He screamed in the car about how I never get him anything he needs and I don't care if he is going to be a social outcast for his whole life.

Honestly, after saying good-bye to my parents all I wanted to do was go home, but since he doesn't really have any shorts for this summer I agreed to take him to buy one pair of shorts.  TWO HOURS later he still hadn't found anything appropriate and I had had it. 

Prayers for wisdom and kindness for me.  I am running out of both...quickly.
