Personal responsibility is my nemesis right now.

There are so many things I wonder how I learned.  Here are a few examples:

1. If I missed school I knew that I didn't get a "free pass" for the work I missed.  I also knew that the teacher wouldn't come to me with the missed work, but that I had to seek out the teacher.
2. If I had an assignment and I didn't turn it in then I still needed to do it, because partial credit is better than no credit.
3. That I should do the things that are due first first.
4. If there was a form my parent needed to sign that I should bring it home.
5. That I could ask the teacher questions and not have my mom call them.  I don't remember EVER asking my mom to call my teacher.

These things are making me insane right now.  When I ask the boys is they made arrangements to make up quizzes or turn in late work or even find out what late work is they act like I am inconveniencing them.  I am clearly an idiot for expecting them to do such a thing.
