Today there has been a flurry of activity surrounding Middle Boy's case.
Since he is still a part of "the system" I had to report about his Facebook posts to his therapist, permanency specialist, CASA, and probation officer.
There has been a flurry of communication surrounding the whole thing.
He is going to be FURIOUS.
Permanency Specialist is talking to her supervisor about what needs to be done given his history.
Probation Officer and I are concerned about the entire thing.
It is now looking like he will AT A MINIMUM be getting a psychiatric evaluation...hopefully not inpatient. The question is going to be whether or not he is immediate danger to himself.
He is at school now and Babysitter J is going to bring him to Younger Boy's football game. He isn't going to be able to be home alone after school until after the evaluation.
I really want to believe this is just another attention seeking behavior which in and of itself is an issue, but at the same time I don't want to bury my head in the sand.
