Tonight is going to be a long night.

Younger Boy has NEVER had his own room.  Both boys are concerned about the safety of the house, the neighborhood and developing fire exit plans.  They are concerned I won't be able to hear them if they need something.  They are concerned about where light switches are and how to get to the bathroom.

They are concerned our house will be "shot up".

Younger Boy cried for an hour because he is scared which transformed into no one loving him.

I don't anticipate much sleep tonight.  Both boys have been back and forth to each others rooms at least 10 times since we started the bedtime process.

We prayed in each room of our house.  We prayed for safety and for peace.  We prayed for it to be blessed and for the whole house to start to feel like home.  We prayed for being able to use our house as a way to bless others.  This seemed to settle the boys down some.
