Middle Boy is doing a lot of attention seeking behaviors lately.  I'm not really sure what is at the root of it.

He "hurt" his hand moving on Saturday and on Sunday INSISTED he needed a brace for it.  We had an ace bandage he could use.  He used it the majority of the day.

He forgot to wear it to school on Monday. 

Today he is wearing it.  I asked if it was attention seeking (BIG MISTAKE).  No, why don't I ever believe him about anything.  His hand is HURT.  He doesn't need to go to a doctor.  He just needs the brace.

Tonight he didn't need it to play basketball, but he assured me he will need it for school tomorrow.

Prayers I can get to the bottom of the need for attention.
