We ate our first make ahead meal tonight.  It was tacos.  It went okay.

Younger Boy wanted to be the one in charge of getting it ready.  Honestly I am not sure what he did, but the taco meat was a little bit watery from just reheating.  He may have added water...I'm not sure.  They were fine though.  It was a lot easier. 

For the amount of time we spent on Sunday afternoon getting ready this was a million times easier than what we have been doing...and healthier...and less expensive.

Now...I have to confess....I am the queen of "one in a row".  I can execute the first day of a plan with the best of them.  Day two on...not so much.  So tomorrow will be the true test.  Two in a row is HUGE for us.
