So...our appointment at the attachment and trauma center was scheduled for noon today.  To make a noon appointment with Younger Boy in tow I need to leave work at 11am, go to his school, and then go to the appointment.

By 11am I still hadn't heard that we had authorization so I called ATC to check.  Nope.  No authorization.  So....we rescheduled.  Luckily they had a cancellation so we MAY be able to get in next week.

I got an email from Service Coordinator.  The closed our other authorization at 12:21pm today.  Great.  Not very helpful when our appointment was at noon.  I wish I could say this hasn't happened before, but it has.  Repeatedly.

At least now I know we can actually go to the ATC whenever we get our next appointment scheduled.

It doesn't need to be this hard for foster parents...it really doesn't.

Prayers for other foster parents getting the same run around today.  I have been in many a doctors office and therapists office watching it happen.  Pray for wisdom to fix a broken system.
