Today Younger Boy talked to Mentor R. Tonight I had a disaster.
EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Why? No idea.
Tonight's behavior looked like this...
At 8:30pm Younger Boy took his meds which is the signal that he is to start winding down for bed. As soon as he takes him meds he is supposed to get in the shower and then head for bed.
8:30pm - meds taken...no issue.
This was followed by turning on the TV to an inappropriate movie edited for TV. When asked to turn off the movie he started screaming about how the movie is not inappropriate and how he is going to watch it...NOW.
Nope...you are are going to get in the shower...NOW.
He went in his room and jumped on his bed and pounded his fists against the wall screaming about not taking a shower, because it was bedtime.
So...I told him he could just go to bed if he felt it was too late to shower. That started the screaming about how I said to shower so he was going to shower and I couldn't stop him.
Finally at 10:20pm he was in bed. This screaming, crying, stomping, punching, pouting behavior is never short lived. It can last for hours. It can be interrupted by a shower and come back strong.
Happens EVERY TIME in some form or another that he talks to or sees Mentor R.
I have to pray about this...I don't know what to do.
EVERY SINGLE TIME.
