Tonight I went to the training session for new mentors in the Camper Connect mentoring program.

There was also a refresher course for the current mentors.

It makes my heart smile to hear the reasons why some of these adults are wanting to mentor.  I love that they are willing to open up their lives and their hearts to these kiddos.

I know God has great plans for these relationships which started at camp.  I can't wait to see what He is going to do.

One of my favorite stories from last night was about Mentor G who has mentored a boy for two years.  This boy was the ring bearer in G's son's wedding.  What an amazing experience and showing of God's love and family.
